4 new elements were released today at the same exact time, and the periodic table is finally complete. Now schoolchildren will have to memorise all 118 elements. Here’s a series of videos about them, that explains them well.

Well, yeah, but that’s just due to quantum mechanics and forces within the nucleus (to my knowledge, I don’t actually do advanced chemistry).
